About the Course
Forests have been proven to have the power to heal us and lead us to better health.
Forest therapy is a form of forest bathing that is backed by scientific evidence.
It aims to maintain and improve mental and physical health and prevent illness while enjoying the forest.
Although some people may have a negative image of forests, such as being easy to get lost, scary, and tiring due to steep slopes, Certified forests are bright and most of the roads are gentle gradients.
The Healing Forest Course in Shinano-cho, Shinshu, Nagano Prefecture, is surrounded by the Shinetsu Five Mountains, including Lake Nojiri and the Kurohime Plateau, an area blessed with natural resources and a history loved by many artists and others. Familiar forest walking courses are scattered around the Kurohime Plateau, and the paths are wide enough for easy walking.
Custom-made courses can be created, but please refer to the following as a model course.

Your Instructor
Satoki Yoshida
Born in Konosu City, Saitama Prefecture. Adventurer.
At Urawa Prefectural High School, he had his first experience of ultra-long distance running, the prototype of his adventurous style. While working for a financial institution in Singapore and continuing to climb mountains overseas, he learned that he was born in Japan on the day an Australian mountaineer reached the summit of Mt. Everest on foot from zero meters above sea level. Feeling a sense of destiny from this strange connection, he conceived of an unprecedented adventure to climb the highest peaks of the seven continents by reaching the summit from the coastline. In September 2018, he made his first expedition to realize this dream, and was fascinated by the "overwhelming beauty of nature" and "interaction with people," and devoted himself to the project. Currently, he has summited 4 summits.
