About the Course
AERU Camp is a place where you can experience the sea, mountains, and horses!
Urakawa in the Hidaka region is a place where you can feel the nature of Hokkaido with all your senses: the pastures where horses run through, the majestic Hidaka Mountains in the background, the beautiful rivers flowing out of them, and the bountiful sea that feeds on them. Here you can play to your heart's content from morning till evening, and then have dinner around the campfire at night! See you all at AERU!
Details of the camp are as follows:
Dates: Friday, August 18 - Saturday, August 19, 2023
Location: Urakawa Yushun Village AERU
Accommodation: Camp site in AERU (in case of bad weather, we will use the conference room of the AERU accommodations)
Meet: 10:00 a.m. on the 18th at the site
Dismissal: 16:00 p.m. on the 19th
Number of participants: 15 (minimum of 7)
Participation fee: 15,500 yen for elementary school students, 16,000 yen for junior high school students and older
Schedule (subject to change due to weather and other factors)
August 18 (Fri.) AM: Gathering, set-up, horse interaction
PM: River play
August 19 (Sat.)AM: Ocean play: swimming and SUP play in the ocean
PM: Trekking, walking in meadows and mountains

A prominent hiking guide company founded by Yuichiro Miura who hiked Mt. Everest for three times, is on the Mt. Everest movie that won The Academy Awards, and is on the Guinness World Records with the highest altitude skiing in Mt. Everest. His son, Gota Miura, who used to play mogul skiing in Olympic and took his Doctor in Medicine degree is a main guide for this activity. They successfully guided 100 rugby players included a guy with physical disability toward the summit of Mt. Fuji by using a special wheelchair for hiking.

In order to provide you with a safe activity, we ask that you send us your medical background in advance. This will help us prepare you the best we can, but we may decline to provide services to you if we find it difficult to provide safe services to you.
